More “ole talk” than water!

The PNM Government is not serious when it boasts about reforming the Water and Sewerage Authority to improve our nation’s water supply. No money has been allocated for improving operations at WASA even though Cabinet has accepted a report from a Committee on reforming the operations. 

Keep your buckets and candles handy. This is governance, PNM style!   

The PNM is soon to begin the process of increased tariffs for WASA consumers. What you can expect then are higher water rates. What would this mean to you? More money from your already strained budgets towards water bills.

The UNC Government under Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar had improved potable water distribution to our population from 17% to 74%. That’s an outstanding increase from 204,000 after decades of past governments, to 888, 000 in just five years.
