Finally, my Development Projects for fiscal year 2021/2022 on Watts Street and Rampersad Lane Curepe has been completed. The residents waited many years for proper drainage. Today, I can say, mission accomplished. Service delivered to the people.
This was my Development Projects for fiscal year 2021/2022 at Watts Street and Rampersad Lane, Curepe. An entire fiscal year almost passed, and we were awaiting approval from ministry.

The main challenge continues to be the Ministry’s delays in doing their investigation.
For quite some time, the residents has been making numerous requests to have proper drainage in front of their homes.
We did our part as soon as possible.
After all necessary requirements were done by the Tunapuna Piarco Regional Corporation road officer VERY EARLY and submitted to the Ministry , the Ministry then was to do their investigation.
The main challenge continues to be the Ministry’s delays in doing their investigation.
When it is approved by the Ministry, then the corporation would advertise for tender. That in itself takes some time. After that process, contract is awarded.

When the contract is awarded to the contractor, then they proceed to begin with a start and end period.
I am pleased that this has finally been completed.
This would bring some comfort and relieve to the inconvenience they have been facing throughout the years gone.
