CARICOM Crime Talks “Flop”

THE anti-crime measures proposed by the PNM Government during the recent regional symposium have already collapsed.

It is not surprising.

The Rowley administration failed to deal with the entrenched causes of crime and comprehensively handle such urgent matters as porous borders, drug shipment, and illegal migration.

The PNM regime is not only devoid of skill and talent but is also chronically bankrupt of ideas to confront the major scourge of our times.

The Rowley administration failed to deal with the entrenched causes of crime.

The fact that the incompetent Fitzgerald Hinds remains at the helm of the National Security Ministry is the most telling indicator of the hopelessness of the administration.

The Caricom crime talks have yielded nothing for Trinidad and Tobago – because of the woefully inept PNM administration.
